  1. Start here: http://www.cic.gc.ca

And find out something about Vancouver before you move; it's a long move to make when you "don't know much" about anywhere.

  2. Don't trust a random stranger to help you move to another country.

  3. This city has pros and cons. The cons really bring the excitement down infact, this MAY change your mind about moving here:

    Cons:

-This city is very boring, there isn't alot to do around only some Malls and shops here and there.

-This city is basically ALWAYS cold and rainy, and right now at this second (Summer), ITS RAINING! Which means= We barely get any sun.

    -The city lacks entertainment

-And also, the downtowns street "East Haistings" Is DISGUSTING. I've never been to USA but in there it may be dirttier but for a Canadian, East Hastings is very disgusting: There are hookers there, Drug addics (Actually doing crack and heroine in the WIDE OPEN!!), and homeless people that dont have a future, so NEVER walk alone there at night or even when your driving becarefull.

-The "tax" to everything you buy can get very irritating, if you dont know what that means, its basically, if you buy ANYTHING from ANYWHERE, there is a 13% of the price added on it, which can be a pain in the butt sometimes.

    Pros:

    -No humidity or Pollution

-Very good Nature, kind of a "Green" city

-Sometimes some movies are shot in Vancouver, but rarely ever.

    -Very cheap to live here

-Also, it is a very safe place to live, i mean the closest i've seen someone from Dying was a 90 yearold grandma getting a heart attack in a resturant, so there's only like a 2% percent chance of you seeing someone die from a shooting

-I have 2 houses here, one in North Vancouver(So-So houses) , and one in Horseshoebay (Richest part of the city) so i have the prespective of both rich and so-so, let me tell you, Horseshoe bay is the most quiet, BORING, neighberhood i have ever stepped in. You can hear a pin drop from 50 miles away, so its Exteremly quiet. The So-So which is North is filled with Persian and Korreans, basically 80% of "Woodcroft" (Which is a Amazing place for a home if your just starting to live in vancouver, Cheap and Clean) are Persians.

-West Vancouver is the second richest part in Vancouver, that is where all the Stuck up people live, and i seriously hate it.

-East Vancouver is filled with g**s and Lesbians.

-Outer places like Cucitlam is 90% Indian.

-Downtown (Probably the most exciting part of the city) is all cultures, but there is a Chinatown, and well its filled with Asians.

Ok, that is all the Pros And Cons, now let me just tell you just some Information.

The schools here in Vancouver are seriously messed up. Since, Vancouver is a multi-cultural city people from all over the world come here, and well...Bring their old ways with them. When i went to Elementary (In canada its, Elementary THEN Highschool, no middle school) the people were very messed up, One girl already gave a b*l*w j*b to someone, someone was an alcoholic, and there were bullies, so education is kinnda...messed up. Now, Highschool is Very different, in the school Handsworth 85% of the kids do drugs. In the school Carson Graham 60% do drugs. That is all about schools, just incase you want to raise a family. Also, some sights that you might visit is the: Capilano Suspention Bridge, Downtown, Playland, Park Royal, Capilano Mall, and Metro Town (It has 470 shops in it, very sweet). So, yeah, that is all the information i could give you about Vancouver, If you want more information msg me at alex.mikzes@yahoo.com.

    Hope i helped!
