Question:

Can someone build me a desktop computer?

I live in Toronto, Canada and was wondering if there is a site where I can build my own desktop computer and have it shipped from within Canada so I don't have to pay a huge amount for S&H.

I am looking for a medium-range desktop computer that has a good processor, probably a Cor 2 Duo or Quad Core or w/e, 100+GB of storage, ~3GB of RAM, and a GFX card that can run Bioshock/COD4/Gears of War/etc... at a medium-high range. But the gfx isnt too important, as I am happy to settle for a medium card. And I would prefer XP being installed, but wouldnt mind Vista.

Can anyone please build me a comp using a Canadian site, and post the items and total price? My range is kind of $600-700 CND.

Also, would it be better if I build my own comp using a site, or if I went to a store like futureshop and bought a pre-built comp?

THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

  1. I would build one for you as I live in belleville, I do not recommend buying one from future shop with your expectations. I say contact local computer store, they will have custom computers there. Only site I can think of is Intel.com, but expensive. Try locally look in phone book.

  2. It is ALWAYS better to get a pre-built pc. You get what you want & a warranty

  3. www.ncix.ca all the way dude!

Sign up for their newsletter, for their crazy deals of the day, and work on those - for example, you might decide to get a 9600GT for 130 dollars, but one of the crazy deals of the day was an 9800GT for 80 dollars, so now you have  better PC for less money!
