Can someone clarify what this means on the return policy?

Question

i purchased an item online.. however it didn't fit me & on their return policy the said "within 14 days of the receipt"... on my receipt the date i have posted is 7/4... so my question is the last day i have to return my item is it on 7/17 or 7/18?

you have until the 18th. So you better hurry that's tomorrow

In most cases it would be the 18th. Whenever I had something with a 2 week return policy, the last day to return it was on the 14th day after the receipt. (Because you could have gotten it late that night or whatever)

And even if technically it says 14 days includes the day the receipt was posted, I am sure no reasonable store will make a big deal out of it...you better return it super fast if you're going to though!
