Can someone collect unemployment why being a full time student?

ok so i was working part time while being a student full time and over the summer i was working full time but i got laid off...so does anyone know if i can collect unemployment since im a full time student. I know they have rules where you have to be looking for a full time job but i cant since i will be going back to school soon in sept. HELP.

If you're a full-time student and you didn't get fired or voluntarily  walk off your job, yes you can. go ahead, the government is ripping us good people off anyway.

You can go to school while collecting unemployment, but you have to have worked at your full time job for a certain period, when you got laid off they should've given you a packet with information, if not look up unemployment online for your state, good luck, but you wont get much.
