Can someone enlighten me on the middle east psychographics?

I am currently preparing the marketing plan, there is part of it that just seem difficult to find - The middle east consumer psychographics. I work for a clothing lifestyle brand and I need to show the board that the previous marketing strategy is not working and the psychographic data will help me in this argument. Thanks!

As far as i know (I live in Egypt), this kind of information is very difficult to get. There are no data of any kind showing the psycho-graphics of the middle Eastern.

The only available data could be found if you searched for Dubai and probably Egypt from western companies who did this before and even so it will be old and not updated enough.

The reason you are struggling to find this information is because each country is different and within each country there are many different mores.

If you take Iraq as an example. People have heard of Sunni, Shia,  Kurd.

But do you even have an idea the amount of various forms and groups of just Shia.

Out side the region most people think that the middle east is just one large group of people that all believe the same way. THAT is a common misconception of the West.

Understand that their history dates to before any western civilization was even thought of. Including the Greeks.

I think you are going to have to study each area you plan on reaching into in great detail. There isn't going to be one place that you can 'just go to'.

I'd start by going to the various country's government sponsored websites and see if they have some information there.
