Can someone explain Peer Guardian 2 to me? ?

  1. what it does, is it keeps a list of servers which you do not wish your computer to contact... (for example ones that belong to the government... Then it will block any program which tries to make a link to one of the numbers that it holds in it's list...

    Okay, basic controls... you have a check updates button, which will assist you in updating the lists which it holds of the IP addresses of those banned servers... I find it's easier to use the "disable" button first and then it makes it much easier for PG2 to connect to a server to update.. (do this every couple of days)

    There is a Block/allow http button, that will apply the same rules to your web browsing.. I find that's really annoying, so I leave it off...

    view history is self explanatory and boring (I have the history function disabled)

    And that's about it.. a very useful tool if you want to keep control of your system, and stop it from wandering off where it shouldn't ;)
