E.v training (effort values) that are hiudden when you level up and when you battle certain pokemon you get e.v from them. The max you can get is three to 1. You can get differnt e.v from certain pokemon such as:

hp: bidoof 1 hp ev

att: salemence 3 att ev

def: aggron 3 def ev

spt: charizard 3 sp att ev

spd: Blissey 3 sp def ev

speed: Zigazagoon 1 speed ev

You can hold special items to double the amount of e.v you get. Item is Macho Brace

You can get only 255 e.vs per stat and a pokemon can only get 510 e.vs
