Can someone explain neurologically why someone would see double out of both eyes since age one? exactly what

kind of hardwiring went wrong to have this occur?

  1. It might be 'hardware' not 'software'.

    If the eyes don't both track on the same point the you "see double".

    check for wandering eye or 'wall eye'.

    This tracking is a learned behavior early in life.

    There are exercises that try to teach the eyes to track properly.

    An occulist should be able to teach them.


  2. Could the problem lie in the occipital lobe?


  3. Can you tell us how thoroughly your condition has been evaluated? Some large medical universities have a neuro-ophthalmologist on staff.
