  1. Parallel worlds are the idea that there are other worlds or universes just like ours that exist right next to us, that we can't see or touch.  Some people like to imagine that these worlds are mirror images, or the exact opposite, of our own.  Other popular theories are that these worlds are just like ours, but that they reflect the different choices we could have made;  for example, if you were married in this one, there could be a world where you were not, or divorced.  This is more science fiction than fantasy, mainly because you'll find a lot of people who like to believe there is actual scientific basis for it, and there are a lot of debates about it.

  2. It's a fantasy.  Don't worry overly much about it.

  3. Well, as far as I know, it's still a science-fiction concept. Although there are vague theories that a parallel world/universe exists.

Something on the lines of : IF we hadn't won the last world war, what would life be like now....and somewhere out there that 'alternate' life of everyone will be happening. There was a TV series on a few years ago called "Sliders" -that explained it better!!  It's a bit complicated!

Personally I don't believe in it (but I love Dr Who!).

  4. Its not fantasy its realer than this earth and more complex than anything taught in school or in basic terms, but its a realm of greater knowledge, very much linked to the past and future, there is alot of information on youtube for example, explanations not all true but many are
