I've been told I don't understand the end times. Would anyone please explain what will happen in the end times?

Do you also believe Alaska will be the last refuge during the end times? If so, refuge from what, exactly?

  1. The Book of Revelation in the Bible is what will happen at the end, and it is 100% GUARANTEED sure to happen as it says.

Right now we are in chapters 2 and 3 of Revelation.  Chapter 6 and beyond is the end times.

Here is a website that teaches the meaning of every verse of every Book of the Bible:  http://www.soniclight.com/constable/note...

Scroll down to the link for Revelation, click it, and read starting in chapter 6 and read to the end, and you'll understand the end times  :)   The chapter and verse the comments apply to, are found on the left hand side of the pages as you scroll through the Revelation pdf file pages.

  2. Yes.  It's simple.  McCain gets elected, invades Iran.  Russia backs Iran and counter-invades. McCain has a heart attack, Palin takes over and crumbles under the pressure. Iran launches missiles on Israel.  We launch a counter-attack on Iran. The Russians, supporting their ally, launch their nukes at us, we launch ours at them, and the world ends.  Simple.

  3. Well, since all the religious claims of end times are 100% made up, nothing will actually happen.

But, we're not out of the woods yet. In only a couple of billion years, the expansion of the Sun into a red giant phase will so heat up the Earth that our water will all boil off, and human life here will become impossible.

  4. The end times in the new testament means this is the last time that God will speak to mankind. There has been 3 dispanastion in the Bible. These dispanastions are laws that God used to govern mankind throught out history. The first lasted from Adam to the cross. The second was the law of Moses. The third is the law of Christ. The first two were taken out of the way by the cross of Christ. We live under that law that was given by Christ it is the new testament of Jesus the Massiah (The Christ) in Greek. The faith was once for all delivered unto the saints Jude 3. The kingdom that Christ promised to establish is all ready here. Col. 1:13 Col 1:13  Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

Heb 12:28  Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

Rev 1:9  I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

When Jesus said in Matt. 16:17-19 that He would build His church, He also told Peter He would give Him the keys to the Kingdom of heaven. What did Jesus do say He was going to build His church and give Peter the keys to something else? The kingdom and the church are the same thing. Christ is the head of the church: Col 1:18  And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

    He is also King: 1Ti 6:15  Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;

How can Jesus be king over His kingdom if that kingdom is not here?

Mat 24:36  But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Mat 24:37  But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Mat 24:38  For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

Mat 24:39  And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Mat 24:40  Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Mat 24:41  Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Mat 24:42  Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

The one left goes to Gehenna. The one taken goes to Heaven.

Joh 5:28  Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,

Joh 5:29  And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

Joh 12:44  Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.

Joh 12:45  And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me.

Joh 12:46  I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.

Joh 12:47  And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

Joh 12:48  He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

Joh 12:49  For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

Joh 12:50  And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

When Jesus comes back this is what He will do=1Co 15:24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

There will be no wars nothing. We will be going about our bisness of every day life then sundenly it will be over.2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

2Pe 3:11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

2Pe 3:12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

  10. First of all, I do not think that anything on the Pacific Rim is going to be a last refuge. With all the fault lines and volcanoes going ballistic lately.

There are many versions and beliefs on what will happen. I will tell you mine, I am sure that others will tell you their side of it.

The End Times started about 2000 years ago. Jesus' resurrection was an End Time event. The End Times will continue through this time to the end of the world, which should not happen for a while.

Christians like me believe in the Rapture of the Church, immediately followed by seven years of something referred to as the Tribulation, the Great Tribulation. At the end of that seven years, Jesus will return and slaughter a massive, massive army. It will take about seven months to clean it up, and they will still find bones in the area around Jerusalem after that. No one will touch those bones except a special crew that is supposed to be protected against whatever it is that is still on those bones.

Jesus will reign for 1000 years after the Tribulation, the Great Tribulation (I know that gets tedious to write it like that, but I am referring to a particular tribulation).

The thing about all of this is that I am not making it up. It's all in the Bible. If you want to see what the Bible says about the time when Jesus comes back, read Zechariah 14. It's very bloody.

I hope you see what I am saying.

  11. Not in one of these little posts. How in the world did Alaska get into this conversation?

  12. I suggest that you should not worry yourself about such drivel...take life as it comes and live it to its fullness!
