Think of the stock market as a single number. The number is the sum of all investors' confidence in the future and excitement about future growth. The stock market, to the largest extent, is an indication of investors' feelings about the future.

When you think about the stock market that way, it's not hard to see why it's had a hard time for the last several months. House prices, which lots of people view as their savings account, have been declining. Oil prices are making it more expensive to travel and are hirting the profitability of lots of companies. On top of all that, we have a Presidential election coming up that is pretty uncertain. It's hard for investors to be excited about the future.

At some point, investors will see a future that is brighter than they see today, and the stock market will begin to improve.

What goes up must comes down, well most of the time. If you crash, its a lot of money lost.

Stock market is a body where limited cos. stocks are listed as per the listing rules. The stocks are traded on the exchange thru recognised brokers by NSE/BSE only. The prices vary as per news, rumours, manipulation, profitabilty, future of the co. It is very risky trading on stock markets, unless you are properly equipped with knowledge, and day to day updates. This is enough in short. Otherwise it is avery big subject
