I was contacted by a company known as eastern marketing solutions. after reading their web-site, i am a bit confused on what exactly it is they do. the web-site is : www.easternmarketingsolutions.com . it says they train managers for fortune 500 companys, i.e. verizon, etc. so does they mean they train you for a year, and then you go be a manager at verizon? that seems a little too good to be true? thanks for expanding on the subject.

  1. This sounds like a job my wife tried out. First interview was 5 minutes. Then she was told, "I'm calling the top 5 between 5:30PM and 6PM" "I only call once, and I don't leave a message."

The next day she spent the day going out with a "Team Leader", basically they were selling items to raise money for Dare. You do a lot of standing, outside, in front of places like Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Best Buy and the like.

The company was legit, but you work strictly on commission, based on how much you sold.

Having had Knee surgery less than 6 months before, all the standing and being in the heat was more than she could handle. If you like people, if you like sales, and want to someday run an office just like that one, then you could do well. Otherwise you may not want to waste your time.

They would train you to sell, then you would become a team leader, then assistant manager, then manager with your own store front, and you start it over with a different name.
