  1. It is funny that year after year the pollsters seem to switch their opinions almost overnight.  One year they focus on one conference, the next year another.  It's this jumping around that has everyone up in arms and at each others throat as to which team is in the better conference.  I don't listen or usually read to polls, I go straight to to people who know the game the best.  In the last several years running, ESPN, USA TODAY, and last but definitely not least, The NCAA COACHES POLL (the only poll I do read) has consistently chosen the SEC as the premier conference in the country.  Look it up !!

But hey, this is America, we all have our own opinions... at least I have validation to back mine up..... and for what it's worth, Georgia is in the SEC and therefore must be the more consistent team !!!

    Go VOLS !!!

  2. Georgia played a cup cake divison II school and USC  played a BCS school and crush them 52 - 7!!

Georgia is not in USC 's Class !!

  3. The difficulty of the game. Look at UCLA, ranked somewhere around 29 or 30, now they're what, 23, just because of who they beat. I take it your a Georgia fan, so dont worry, Georgia will remain in the top 5 probably all season and will probably play for the BCS championship. It's only week 2 after all.

  4. LMAO..this is why they don't let southern hick chicks like you vote. Plus is it really that hard to spell dog correctly?

  5. USC probably has a better team than the bulldogs and better players.

  6. UGA Is my favorite team, but USC Deserves it for beating Virgina, we let GA Southern put up 21 , and even though we beat them, that's pretty bad...

But dont worry, we'll dominate when it matters ;)

  7. Georgia played a very weak Georgia Southern team and USC traveled across the country to play Virginia and absolutely embarrassed them. USC has a nice team this season.

  8. It's because Georgia played against a weak OOC team on the same day USC played against BCS DIV.1 opponent, not some Div. 2 or some D1AA opponent.

USC also traveled more than 2000 miles across the coast on the road while Georgia barely left their own state.

It's only one game and the polls will change from week to week.

Georgia is also gonna face ASU on the road in the coming weeks so be patient. It will depend on how they perform. If they perform extremely well they could leapfrog back to the no.1 spot.

  9. If you don't know by now, the media kisses USC's @$$e$ all the time.  I'm surprised they weren't #1 at the beginning of the season.

  10. USC played a BCS team and beat them by more than Georgia and Ohio State beat non BCS teams. They deserve the #1 ranking. If Georgia would have won by 70 they would deserve the top ranking. It's all about style in college football.

  11. Because the SEC is a very over rated conference. The Pac-10 is better overall, thank you UCLA!! Teams like Georgia use a weak nonconference schedule to kinda even out what people say is a tough conference. But you still cant let Georgia Southern put 21 up on you. Florida is the best team in the SEC and Georgia is very over rated.

  12. The pollsters have a strange love affair with west coast teams right now, just like they did with Florida teams a few years ago.  Georgia is the better team.

Of course, that being said...GO BUCS!!!!!!!

  13. The SEC, in my opinion has 6 of the top 10 teams in the NCAA in Florida, Georgia, Auburn, Alabama, LSU, and Tennessee.  However, I would give USC the #2 ranking NOT after Georgia (who should be #3), but Florida.  I think Florida's team is older and wiser than the young but talented team they were when they lost to Michigan.  Tim Tebow has the fastest targets in the NCAA and the defense is sooooo underrated.
