  1. Get drunk, drive, get pulled over by the popo, and then fail the breath test...

  2. one drinks...one drives...one gets a DUI.

Pretty much as simple as that....

  3. First of all, you don't have to drink alcohol and drive to get a DUI. driving under the influence of any drug can get you a DUI. EX..You can get a DUI for driving while high on maryjuana.

  4. ok. dui stands for driving under the influence. Its is almost the same as dwi, driving while intoxicated. What happens is if you drink too much alcohol (or any other intoxicant) usually being alcohol the police catch you while you are driving, they will administers some tests. These test could include Breathalyzer, blood test, or even a few exercises just to make sure, you are fit to be driving. This can include walking heel to toe, counting forwards and backwards, it really depends on the departments. If you are deemed not fit enough to be operating a motor vehicle, you will be placed under arrest, your car impounded (most of the time) and put into a detoxification room to sober up. It can go from fines all the way up to a little jail time for past offenses of dui or dwi. The best practice is not to drink and drive or if you must get somewhere after drinking to have a designated driver, (one who doesn't drink and is responsible for driving everyone back home) or call a cab. I hope this answers your question.

  5. get F****n drunk...

  6. There really isn't a lot of detail. You drink too much, commit a traffic violation, fail field sobriety, test over the limit, and you have yourself a DUI.

If you are taking drugs, even prescription drugs, and your driving is impaired, you can be arrested also.
