Can someone explain to me the logic of having prisoners?

Question

We go to Iraq and Afghanistan, kill over 1 Million innocent civilians and then imprisons 520 really bad guys to the tune of 5 Billion tax payers money in Guatanamo.

Then we bring them to court, stuff them in a high security prison ($500,000 each annually) for 30 years

In the meantime for each bad guy in prison 1000 more bad guys come out of the hills.

Anybody explain please the logic, I am confused.

Why are we at war again and with whom?

What are our choices? Let the prisoners out and have them come back and kill American soldiers?..can't do that; wouldn't be prudent.

I agree with you Take No Prisoners is the best policy.

In fact, i say we empty all of prisons of civilian prisoners too.  All non violent prisoners get released.  All violent prisoners get summarily executed.

Don't try to reason it.  They hate us because we let our women be free.  They hate us because we dont bow to their God 5 times a day.  They hate us because we stopped the Germans from killing the Jews.

They don't hate us because we have 520 guys locked up.  If anything they think we are stupid and weak for having 520 guys locked up.  Over there they just cut off their heads and be done with it.

We haven't killed a million Iraqis, and 1000 of the enemy don;t come down from the hills for each one we capture.  In case you missed it, even Obama says we are winning in Iraq.  Just ask the Solders and Marines that have been there

Well, I think the Bush administration is setting the baseline for the worst possible foreign affairs fiasco of any president.  They are actually doing democrats a service by showing the absolute worst job a president can do without much experience in foreign affairs and a total lack of an adequate foreign policy.  There will be terrorists with or without our aggravation.  But, I believe the Bush administration is responsible for stereotyping and labeling many people as terrorists to create a false sense of safety.  They need more than half of America to fall for this because they need more support for McCain.  Going to war to stop terrorism is like jumping on a falling elevator right before it hits the ground.  If you're stupid, you think you'll be saved.  If you're smart, you'll accept the fact your fate is sealed whether you jump or not.

Terrorism attacks the very fiber of Freedom, of Peace... and the bad guys are terrorists, they have shown time and time again that their goal is either our death, or our conversion... heck with that, but little things like facts, well, heck, you can't look at facts, if you did, how could you continue to "blame America 1st"??????

No wonder you're confused; The figures you quoting in your question are so far out of wack that they defy very logic you're seeking!  Why don't you take a time out and look up some factual numbers instead of making up 'feel good' numbers.  At what point did you find it documented that we're responsible for "kill[ing] over 1 Million innocent civilians."  You should stop listening to the far left, they making you sound like an idiot!  Further, you should be ashame to ask "Why are we at war again and with whom?" as you clearly are not keeping up with current events and do not have the ability to conduct intelligent research on your own.
