I looked at my Verizon landline phone bill the other day and found out I was getting charged $1.99 a month for the Sensible Minutes Plan which I had never requested.

  1.     Sensible Minute

        Monthly Fee:

        Extend your local calling reach.

With Sensible MinuteTM, you'll get the convenience of a simple flat rate of $.15 per minute for all your direct-dialed, regional toll calls and you can call whenever you like. Calls are billed $.015 for each additional tenth of a minute, or fraction thereof. Even direct-dialed calls to some areas in other states that are part of your regional calling area may be covered by the Sensible Minute rate.

With Sensible Minute, each call is itemized. You'll know at a glance each number that you called, the date and time it was made and its duration.

Besides, this offer is for regional toll calls, not local and not Long Distance. That would be a separate charge.

Not very sensible. .15 a minute is robbery! I would call them and get the plan changed or removed all together.
