I swear if ur from Auz or NZ ur a tool. It was during the First world war and it all started because of the d**n brits. Russians asked for help out of fear of the turks and britain hoping to turn that to its advantage offered to help.They thought they could easily take Gallipoli pennisula with there main target being Constantinople. Knock out the turks and rendevous with the russians to talk politics with the Balkins.

Brits over estimated there impact and lots of Aussies and New Zealanders who tried to invade were annihilated within a couple days.

After all was said and done brits were shown up by the turks who managed to defend their homes but lost over 300000 men in the process but who could barely cause trouble to the russians any longer. This is summary style go watch the mel gibson movie u may get the gist of it then
