i have two suggestions i think you might like..listen to the lyrics of these songs...

first one is : so far away from me by the dire straits

second one is : what am i to you? by norah jones

and you know what?  just friends is a good place to be too..its also a good foundation for the beginning of a relationship. so dont give up hope if you really like him. be his friend, he may realize that  thru this friendship he has come to need your company and want something more.
