Can someone fix up the grammar on this spanish sentence please ? Easy ten pts.?

"Este no es un fenomeno nuevo...o es? En el ano mil noveciento setenta y tres los Americanos se creido que existen una problema se llama "refrigeración global"!"

This isn't a new phenomenom...or is it ? In the year 1973 the Americans believed that the problem they called "global cooling" existed !

Obviously the sentence isn't historically correct, but regardless can someone please help with the grammar ?
