You have an altercation where police are forced to open fire on someone too stupid to listen to their clear instructions.

So, instead of supporting your police department, you have a little riot. Not only that, you start torching things that don't belong to you including tossing molotov cocktails at the firetrucks that arrived on the scene to put out the fires.

And instead of opening fire on the rioters as the police SHOULD have done, they showed remarkable restraint and held their fire.

Now, you blame THEM for the riot.

Am I missing something here? Or are ALL of you congenital morons?

I'd just like to know, because here in Winnipeg, we breathe a sigh of relief when a Police officer shoots someone too stupid to obey their very simple instructions.

But hey, maybe that's just us.

  1. Winnipeg, Beijing, Toronto, London, Vancouver, or Paris I think you will find that like Montreal they all have the ones who are just too juvenile to comprehend their own actions.

Riots and foolishness is not confined to Montreal. It is world wide.

  2. Well, you just have to respect a different perspective when it comes to our French Canadian friends.  They mean well.

  3. I wish everyone thought as you.  Its simple.  If you are involved in a situation requiring police attendance, and are acting in such a fashion as they are forced to draw their service pistols, do as they say.  That way, everyone goes home.  For some reason, this seems to be an illusive concept for some to grasp.  Glad to see there are some that support the police.
