  1. sure, it's an opiate

  2. I don't know, but when i did a search, the first thing that came up was: "tranadol is a commonly mispelled [sic] or mistyped keyword for people searching for our featured pain relief medications", which I thought was pretty funny.

If seizures, nausea, vomiting, sweating and constipation "requiring manual evacuation of the bowel" get you "high" you might try Tramadol, but unless you get off on the side effects, it is probably not a great "high".

  3. Tramadol is not a controlled substance, yet.  Many doctors do treat it as one, though.  It is habit forming.  If you were to look it up in a pdr the first thing you would see is a warning about taking more than 250mg in a 24 hr period.  It is a cousin of Hydrocodone(lorcet), and oxycodone(percocet), and will produce the same effects if you happen to be allergic to any opiate that is "kin" to either of these.  The warning about taking more than 250mg/24hr is referring to the likely hood of the drug causing seizures even if you've never had one before.  I have taken this drug for 2 years because of a curvature in my spine.  In order to get the 'high' i believe you are referring to, you have to take quite a bit of it.  I don't recommend taking it if your Dr. didn't prescribe it.  It's really risky, and life's too short to chase that altered state of consciousness everyone wants to call a 'high'.  Sorry for the lecture, but the real answer to your question is: YES-if you take enough of it.  Tramadol is the generic form of Ultram.

  4. If you are speaking of "tramadol", then yes you can. It is the generic for Ultram and it will give you a euphoric feeling. Some doctors battle over whether or not it is habit forming, but I know several athletes on it and they are hooked. Hope this helps.  :)

  5. Absolutely - Tranadol or Tramadol aka ultraset is a pain killer and can be addictive.  Anything that interferes with your bodies ability to sense pain (which is a "natural" thing) should be taken only for the time indicated and the dosage prescribed by your physician.

    This is a prescription medication.
