so guy montag is a fireman in the future.

in the future tho most everything is fireproof so montags job is to burn books.

books are illegal because it makes people individuals

so books are outlawed.

montag has a wife and all she does is watch tv and talk to friends

she is very mutch not an individual

one day while going to work montag meats a girl named clarise who is verry different

she is not part of the normal sociaty where  everyone is the same

she  likes to take her time at things and be and think

montag thinks this is silly at first but then he bigens to think himself

he comes to a realization that burning books is wrong after he has to burn a lot of them in a house

he fills the house with kerosene but the woman in the house wount leave her books so while trying to get her out she decides to die with her books and lites herself on fire

somewhere in the middle of all this montags wife "mildred"

overdoses on sleep pills so some people come to their house and pump out her blood and fluid and replace it

the atitude of the men pumping her also frightened montag because they acted as if they did this all the time

montag begins to doubt rarther burning books is right or wrong.

so he steals a book for himself

and now i am tired of writing so you can read the rest of the book

but basically after that there is conflict between montag and the fire chief

montag gives up his book but the fire chief burns down his house anyway

montag also burns down the house as a simbal of his past

and then they try to take montag to prison but instead montag burns all of their faces off

then montag has to run from the poliece

there are alot of other details that occure during the book about a friend he meat in the park and a war.

and evetually the whole city is destroyed

the book is about the future of censorship and i cant believe i wrote this mutch
