Seriously, if one exsists.

A different creature, exsample a centar or a merman or something.

All Vamp/Were books are knock offs of Twilight, and I am Vamped and Wered out.

  1. Well it isn't exactly a fantasy but The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks is actually really good! I would also recommend What My Mother Doesn't Know by Sonya Sones, How to be Popular by Meg Cabot and What My Girlfriend Doesn't Know by Sonya Sones =].

    Hope I could help!

  2. The Host by Stephenie Meyer

  3. Try Song in the Silence by Elizabeth Kerner.  This is the first book of a trilogy, but it deals with a romance between a human girl and a dragon.  Very well-written and good.

  4. Tithe by Holly Black

    The sequel to Tithe,: Ironside

    Valiant by Holly Black

    Hope I helped_=)

  5. Meg cabot series the mediator it pretty good. And  I there are no vamps or werewolfs.

  6. Twilight is still pretty new, so there are plenty of other vamp and were novels that are very fresh (try Anne Rice starting with Interview with the vamp or another book called Blood and Chocolate) but... if you really want to get away from the vamp/were genre let me tell you the title of an amazing book.  First, you've got to be fairly good at keeping somewhat confusing stories in order.  The book is a bunch of different fairy tales (all new and never used, but based on some classics) each tale leading into the next and then back again.  Anyway, the title of the book is The Orphan's Tales, In The Night Garden by Catherynne Valente.  I really think you'll enjoy it.

  7. You should try the Gemma Doyle trilogy by Libba Bray.

    The books are:

    A Great and Terrible Beauty

    Rebel Angels

    The Sweet Far Thing

They're great books that I enjoyed far more than Twilight. I disagree that all Vampire and Werewolf books are knockoffs of Twilight. There is plenty of legitimate vampire/werewolf fiction that isn't the spawn of Twilight. You should try Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles if you're ever in the mood for vampire fiction again :) They're absolute classics that Twilight probably got some inspiration from. Happy reading!

  8. Books by Karen Whiddon are good.  Some of it is pretty descriptive explicit though.  I've read some of the Magic Series, and its interesting.  It's about 2 different world, earth and rune (sp?).  The Rune characters are magical and stuff...but its interesting and there are no wearwolves or vampires ;)

  9. ...Seriously? ALL Vamp/Were books are knock offs of Twilight? Uh, Hello? Just because some other books have Vampires AND Werewolves, that DOESN"T mean the authors of them ripped off the idea from twilight!!!! There are OTHER books, before twilight that had werewolves and vampires!!!!

  10. The Chronicles Of Narnia, it's a good book and the movie is pretty cool.

  11. Hehehehehe...

Had to laugh on the last bit. Sorry. :0)

    Um...let's see...

Are you old enough to read Kushiel's Dart? That would be something waaay different than anything Stephenie Meyer puts out.

It's a bit intense and will leave you breathless here and there--but could you handle reading the book and the saga which followed it?

I'd offer you The Price of Freedom, but that book won't be ready for quite some time. It's a bit on the LONG side and has adult themes involved.
