  1. okay well we do a warm up routine for 15 minutes before we start running. and these exercises help in both track and feild so it really does not matter what event your doing.

    here is a link...

    hope i help :o)

  2. warm up half a mile

if you are a sprimter do about 7 full out hard 100m  sprints with about 5 minutes inbetween each one

distance, run 1 mile and brake for like 10 minutes and then run a 2 mile

middle distance; do a 400. and wait a couple, 400, 400,[[wait a couple minutes in between each of these]] 800, 800

    SLOW half mile cool down

  3. so do u want music ?

  4. ok you should do like 3 or 4 miles and then take a short brake not long and then you should do about 20 sprints football field length and if you have a big hill long and tall than you should do sprints up and down it to it will work.

  5. Ladders are great-

    100 M full out

    200 M full out

    300 M first 150 full out, last 150 coast

    400 M first 100 full out, second & third 100 coast, and finish strong last 100 M.

Do this a total of 5 times, break between each set of 100-400 Meters.

Also, on every other day- weights are great. Burpees, Lunges, bench presses and pull ups are great for strength!

On the days you lift, ab workouts are great also. Core strength is VERY important for a runner.

That's just a few for basic strength and quick speed. For endurance, try going on 3 mile runs, to 4 miles, to 5 miles and continue increasing your number of miles as you become more comfortable!

make sure you strength thorougly and do a good 1 miles warmup for the distance runs, and an 800 ( 2 laps on track) for the sprinting.

    Good luck!
