Abiogenesis is the theory that life can arrive from non-living material. However, if this has never been recreated, even though scientists supposedly know how it happend, then how can it even be plausible? I ask this because I was going over some theories of big bang, life, etc.. and it got me thinking of how life even originated if the big bang was not a living material and nothing from it was a living material. It seems as if life just was. Now, I am no religious freak, I do believe science and whatever, but it seems to me that some sort of GOD is the most plausible answer for life

  1. The point isn't that only GOD created life, the point of abiogenesis is that every living creature on Earth has a "parent".  That doesn't mean that life didn't arise on earth from primitive organic elements billions of years ago.

  2. Would you dare ask this in the biology forum?
