Ahem.  Fisherman sucks at catching fish.  Fisherman goes out and gets a fish on his hook, which he cannot pull onto his boat.  Fish pulls fisherman's boat for three days.  Fish gets tired and bored, fisherman kills it.  Sharks attack him.  He kills them.  Sharks eat the fish, which is a marlin (for some inexplicable reason, this is quite important.)  Fisherman goes home.  Other fisherman find the marlin's bones, and find that it is a very big fish.  Fisherman dreams about lions.

Honestly, this is one that baffles me.  I understand that the fight between the man and the fish is supposed to be symbolism for good and evil and man's inability to tell the difference and all, but seriously.  It's about a man and a fish.  Very boring.

yery old and unlucky fisherman goes a long time w/o catching a fish and thn hooks a rly rly rly big marlin (biggr than his boat) he has to tie it up along side his boat and take it home. sharks come and eat the marlin. old man comes home w/ nothing. he is sad. lol
