Can someone give me advise, i do not want to move schools next year!?

hey,

im new to this, but i know that i need answers fast! Im in year 8 and next year my mum says i need to move schools. Im not going to say what school i go to know (for privacy reasons). All my friends go there and i have been going there since year 3 and i am very adjusted. She says we cant afford it (it costs 8 thousand a year) because we need to pay of lots of debts and stuff. So she wants me to go to a public high school. I can choose either co- ed or single s*x but i dont want to move at all. And to make things worse every one is choosing electives for next year and i dont even know what school im going to. I really need help. I want to know how to convince my mum that i like the school i go to. She thinks its a waste of money but i really want to stay.

some things are more important. honestly if it came down to you eating or going to the school you go to currently which would you choose?
