I am a junior in high school. I have juggled so many different careers. I make staraight A's in hisory, english, biology, and public speaking, but I am a low B high C student in math. I love talking! I could talk to anyone about anything for hours. I also love to argue. I like to help people. I like to be on the go constantly. I am persuasive. People have told me that medicene is right for me, but am unsure about it. I have became intersted in law, but I don't know how successful I would be and what type of law I would even go into. Advice please!

  1. What ever you do - make sure that it is something that makes you proud. If you really like your career you will have that 'can't wait to go to work kind of feeling' -most people don't get it. That is key to your success - You sound like you would be more motivated by helping people then by making money. Everyone needs money but don't make it your top priority. Don't pick a higher paying job over one that you will love. There are many different types of law. There is Public and Private law. How successful will you be? if you love it (anything) you will be successful at it - don't worry!  Last point when you do decide it's not what you know but who you know it took me years to understand this but it's true.

  2. Find something you love to do then it is not work

  3. What about being in politics or a government job that lets you influence the community. Other than that, you could be a radio presenter because you could talk, and talk, and talk the whole time and not have to even pause. My last Idea is book recording. That's where you read a book on tape so they have a taped version. You'd probally be good at that.

Other than that, I think you should folow what you think suits you.

Sorry that I couldn't be more help.

I had one last thought, a sales person!

  4. You can be a therapist! Help them with their life! Travel and help all kinds of people.

  5. i think you should be those people who listen to peoples problems and help resolve them :] im sorry the name of the job isnt coming to me right now XD

  6. I suggest not medical because if you are bad at math, you don''t want to do math.   i would go into law, but family law, not criminal because you never know what you would get into.

a good talker is always a good lawyer.  Or even a social worker.  You could even be a cruise director.

  7. Maybe a politition is right for you? Nice grades btw... Math is my worst subject too. =(

  8. family law would give you the opportunity to help, corporate law may be more stable and less emotional

  9. There is nothing wrong with many careers or career interests dont pigeon hole yourself. I'm a college freshman and I work at my school's career center. I'm glad you are thinking about this early cuz i get scared when College seniors and graduates walk into the office and still have no clue what they want to do.

A good way to find out what you want to do is to rule out what you definitely WILL NOT do. In my case I cant see myself cutting someone open so a surgeon of any kind would not be good for me. I would ask people in fields that interest you to give you advice an how to get started or ask if you can shadow them for a day to see what they do.

your persuasiveness would be an asset as a lawyer or you could go into business. Good CEOs and businessmen are always on the go and have to present ideas. The ones that make a lot of money are extremely charismatic and you seem lively. You could go into politcal science (barack Obama's speaking skills cannot be denied even if you don't like him). These are just some ideas you can do so much more with your skills. Take a career test that might help and remember a job and a major are not a CAREER. Good luck hope I helped :)
