  1. 1. Change the way you think. You are still unique and marvelously made in God's image, not according to performance, opinions, body type, etc. You are gifted in some way for God's purpose and you need to find that gift. It may not be found in the activity you're currently engaged in.

    2. If you really like the sport, seek counsel on how to improve, and stop comparing yourself with others. There is something you can do better than they can. If you just can't improve, move on and learn from the experience.

    3. Ask friends, family, teachers, etc., their observations about your strengths. Go after them and use them to help others.

  2. What type of team are you on? And how old are you? Feelings of inferiority come from a lack of self esteem and confidence.

Try not to compare yourself to anyone else on the playing field, it only distracts you from your own position and will leave your abilities seemingly wanting. If you play your part, and DO YOUR BEST each time you are the best you can be. If your best is less one day then the next that too is normal. Your best is always changing, if you are sick, as opposed to healthy, it changes. IF you are happy or sad it changes. But if you always do your best, and are confident in yourself you can only improve on your play.

So don't compare yourself to team mates, don't put yourself down!!!! I can't stress how important this is, when you put yourself down, it lowers YOU in the yes of your team mates as well. SO do your best, always say something positive and look ahead, NEVER BACK!

    GooD LUCK

  3. The best thing to do is to gain some self-confidence for yourself.   Real confidence is within you at all times. It's always been there; it's just been misplaced, forgotten, and trampled upon. Believe in yourself and keep on practicing at what you're doing. Use positive imagery and try to overcome your self-doubt. Usually self-doubt thrives on fear; fear of the unknown, fear of failure, and fear of not being liked. When self-doubt is too much, it could also lead to variety of physical and psychological ailments such as depression, muscle tension, cold sweats, and feelings of victimization.

  4. Well you made it on the team, so you must be better than you give yourself credit for.
