I don't have much acne, I'm actually kinda new to this. I've never had anything more than a couple pimples, but I'm starting to get more. I've tried Mary Kay, but it's not doing too well and i'm starting to use clean & clear but i don't know if it's working or not. (i have the continuous acne control face wash, acne spot treatment, and the oil-free acne moisturizer)

  1. I personally think Neutrogena's the best affordable skin care brand out there.

For Clean&Clear, their acne face washes made me break out.

Keep using it if there seem to be improvements, but if there aren't any improvements after a month, I'd try Neutrogena's Deep Clean line.

Of course, if you're looking for an acne treating system, there's always Pro-Activ (which is a bit expensive since it's like $20 a month)

If you ask me, don't overdo your acne treatments because too much will make you break out more. It is possible that you'd do better with a simple face wash or even the traditional soaps.

  2. Try going to the Clinique counter at your local shopping mall. They have many products to help with acne and managing pores. The consultants are nice and they can take a look at your skin and reccomend some things that might help. They can also help you to get products to match your skin type.

  3. I suggest St. Ives Blemish/Blackhead Control Apricot Scrub. It's only around 4 dollars and does wonders.
