  1. Whether in fiction or in real life when anyone comes across an obstacle on the way to a fixed goal, reflex takes over and sets the person's mind immediately working at lightning

speed to overcome.Thr reflex action makes one delve into the immense storehouse of knowledge in the mind at speeds beyond comprehension and retrieve a solution which would meet the situation or nearabout. The analysis cannot often be explained as the whole process is gone through subconsciously.

It is only when the solution is sought to be applied to the problem that alternatives also

start taking shape in the mind. The mind is not only a storehouse but also a superb search engine sifting data at speeds which on reflection at calmer times, would astound one.

The best solution to the problem strikes like a beacon which is then sought to be applied to tackle the problem. All the while, the foremost goal is only to overcome the obstacle.Having

achieved the goal, the mind sets about to seek whether this solution needs to be classified separately so that it can be drawn upon in a

jiffy at some later date when a similar problem is encountered. It is at this stage, that the mind decides whether this is to be treated as a lesson for future reference or a one shot experience that has very little probability of

occurring again.A simple example would demonstrate the train of thought. When one gets burned, one begins to dread the fire. This one time experience is enough for the mind to store it away for future because here the probability of the situation recurring is very high that it gets classified as a  valuable lesson as a

    result of the experience.
