Can someone give me some titles of good psychic/energy protection books that were written a while ago?

Since energy protection has been around for centuries, I was wondering if anyone knew of older books on the same subject. Sometimes, old books are more indepth and realistic than most of the flimsy new age stuff. Im looking for books written before 1970, even as far back as 1700s. I doubt most of you have titles of books that go back that far, but give me some reccomendations anyway. After all ' new age' really is old age. Thanks for the recomendations in advance.

old books are simply hard to find.  i tried several sites and even an old bookshop but nothing.

u're right - new age stuff is just rubbish!  badly packaged.
