Can someone give me tips/ideas on drawing hair and fixing up my lucille ball drawing(its 18*24 in) ...?

Get the book "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain". My drawing teacher used it. In the meantime, turn the picture upside down, and draw what you see. Don't think of it as hair. Also, look at the original and your drawing in a mirror. It will show you what to change.
