  1. You could do an under the sea party, Peter Pan, Willy Wonka, Luau, Hollywood, Wizard of Oz or any movie theme, dogs, cats, jungle, ...

    Good luck!

  2. Definitely depends on the ages:) ......my grandson had his 4th birthday at the local fire station (girls included).  The firemen talked to the kids, and let them climb on the fire trucks & paramedics truck.  They even hung a pinata from the ladder of the truck for the kids! ......

  3. It all just depends on what ages the children is.........

If they're real young like almost toddler, go for a children's cartoon(Barney,S.Street)theme.

If they're around the ages of 6-almost 13,you could also do like a fav.movie theme or cartoon theme(Spongebob).

But, I wouldn't do any themed parties, I would just take the children to a place like Chuck-E-Cheese or to a skating rink.

  4. Costume party... "your favorite character from the movies"

And the theme can be " A night @ the movies"

  5. -Fun and games with relay races, (potato sack races, three legged races, wheel barrel races, etc) volleyball and badmitten, tug of war (get an inflatable kiddie pool and fill it with water break them into 2 teams, the losing team ends up in the water, pie eating contest, but instead of pie, fill the tins with whipped cream whoever finishes first, wins!, etc.

-Sugar and Spice- lots of sweets with candies and cookies, let them decorate cupcakes or a cake, and then you can have them decorate little pizzas and things, etc.  Decorate with vases filled with jellybeans, lots of bright colors, etc, and have food as the savory or spice and then the cake and candy and have an ice cream bar(get chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream and some toppings, like sprinkles, chocolate syrup, whipped cream and cherries and let them make their own sundaes. You can get plastic sundae glasses at the dollar store or the waffle cone bowls at the grocery store.) as the sugar of course!

-You can check your local zoo, some have rooms set aside for parties and then the kids can walk around the zoo, but also get to see some of the animals up close.

-pizzeria, a lot have parties where the kids go and make their own pizzas and then get to eat them.

-Chuck E Cheese-  Kids love that mouse!

    -Gymboree- another place kids love!

    -Bowling party

-Picnic at the park- bring some food, music,

frisbee, potato sack races, (relay races) three legged races, the same as fun and games party, but do it at the party.  Depending on their age, you can find an area with a swing set, etc.

-Cowboys and Cowgirls, you can do a country western theme and base the party around that.

-Dance party- Everyone likes music and to dance and the boys and girls will like to do that, this may be better for a little bit older age group though.  The little ones may not be as into this as the older ones.

-Games and more!  You can do board games and interactive games.  This is also better for a bit older than toddler.  You can do board games and interactive games like Charades, Twister, Pictionary, Trivia games, card games and then a bunch of board games available.

-For older kids, Casino party!  You can do a Roulette table, Blackjack, card games, etc. They don't have to  play to the rules of the Casinos, just let them play to have fun!  This is more to the teen scene!

-Pool party- this I would do with a little older.  Having little ones in the pool can be a lot to handle, I would do this with a little older of a group.

-BBQ cookout, you can make burgers and hot dogs with some side dishes and salads, and chips and snacks and whatever other foods like they.  Along with an ice cream bar!

-Movie night!  Set up a red carpet/fabric for them to enter on and take their picture as they entering.  Then set up a white sheet as a backdrop for them to pose and take some pictures with some props and each other.  The props can be sunglasses, hats, boas, etc.  Go to Blockbuster and get some cardboard buckets for popcorn and microwave popcorn and big boxes of movie candy, at movie time, every guest gets their own bucket of popcorn but the candy they pass around to share!  After the movie is the after party where they pose in front of the sheet and eat, and you can do the cake and ice cream bar or whatever and if you have any games for them, etc. Open gifts, etc.

-If you have a Roller Skating Rink near you, that's something that both the girls and boys can do, but not every child can do that, and some may fear doing it.  I would check with parents on their child first and how they are with it.

-There's always the movies, shows, concerts, etc.  Those are always good choices for kids.

-Dave and Busters if you have one nearby.  It's a great place for most ages and they love it there, they can play the games and then have lunch and/or dinner there! Even you'll have fun there!

-ESPNZone is another great place!  The food is awesome and there's an awesome game floor upstairs with interactive games and things!

-Ice cream parties are great, everyone loves ice cream, just make sure that none of the kids are lactose intolerant!  You can take them to Friendly's for lunch and ice cream or just go somewhere like Carvel or Coldstone or somewhere that has ice cream parties, little ones and older ones alike will love it!!

I hope some of these ideas help!

  6. dressing up party as something beginning with the same letter as the first letter of your name, e.g. freya could dress up as a fairy, peter could dress up as a pirate, catherine could dress up as a cat, richard as a robot etc. i know its not really a theme but it sounds like so much fun.

other themes possibilities (depending on their age):

really young - fairies and pixies

    children - disney characters

older children and young teens - movie stars

older teens - cowgirls and red indians

  7. i take it you mean for fancy dress?

as a few others has said, depends on the ages but,

    Disney,

food, (come as a cake, carrott etc)

    footballers,

    sea monsters/fish/octopus/seaweed etc,

    superheroes - cat woman/batman etc,

    colour party? green clothes/decorations/cakes/cucumber/apple... etc

                            red/tomato's/apples/strawberries etc

depends what the children are into? but i hope this helps!!

    enjoy your party! x
