Well for starters, It's best to only have one type of monster eg. Fire or Dark. Then find the best monsters that suit that type, but don't just choose powerful monsters, use useful effect monsters that can support your deck. If you desire you can put Fusion monsters in your deck but thats your choice.

Then find a good selection of magic and trap cards, remember to use cards that protect your monsters and get rid of your opponents spells and traps.

This is my deck but It's only new and Isn't as good as my other decks.

If you can afford it i suggest you make a Dark Armed Dragon deck but you make the deck that you want.

really i would go for an aggro deck because its a beatdown deck with strong monsters and preventions,stalls,and controls

Make a monarch/remove deck. Caius, raiza. and mobius are the best monarchs to use. Add a prime material dragon to protect your monsters. For the remove part, add 2 gren maju de eiza, i think, 2 necrofaces, 1 soul absorbtion, the d.d. warrior trio, and other cards that remove cards from play.

you first have to get a load of monsters that are the same type e.g.. dark type and then get all these strong trap and magic cards. Also, since dark  monsters are mainly fiend and spell casters any equip cards should work on all of your monsters
