Can someone help me connect to the internet?

i can't get MY computer to connect to the internet using my Belkin Wireless G USB adapter. i installed all the software and updated it using my jump-drive, but i cant put in all the necessary info in...like my IP adress or sub-net mask, etc. please help me

are you trying wireless or wired. The router MUST BE HOOKED UP TO THE COMPUTER so that it could find the address. Retry with the wire on and then take it from there

Is your router wireless capables, get the model and search google to find out, if not you need to buy a wireless capable router.
