Can someone help me find an apt. in or near DC for less then $800 but still in a decent area.

i am a recent college grad looking for a decent one bedroom apartment at a low price. any suggestions?

If you want to get an apt. for less than $800, you are going to have to move out of the city. There are some "tax credit" apts in Northern Virginia for around $800, but other than that you are looking at finding some roommates or living in the ghetto.

You can't really live in a decent area in DC for that. Try some roommates if you're just starting out, or move farther away.

if you can't find anything in dc, go to alexandria, va. my best friend got a 1br on special for $699.
