  1. Contact:

    ASAP

  2. you should contact a lawyer to help you find him because if she didnt want him then you should have been able to get him fight it in court to get full cucstody of YOUR son

  3. You need an attorney immediately.  Even though he is your son, and even if the adoption isn't finalized, the law does not make it easy on fathers.  This is particularly true in states that have putative father registry requirements, which undercut a father's right to his own child.

Below is a list of states that have these registries.  If you did not sign a putative father registry, you are considered to have lost your rights.  Yes, I realize that most people have never even heard of them, yet fathers are expected to somehow know to sign them.  Incidentally, Dr. Phil did a segment on the putative father registry laws recently.  I was quite happy to see him slam these laws.  They take away a father's right to due process.

Again, please contact an attorney ASAP!

    Here's the list of states:

    Arkansas

    Florida

    Georgia

    Idaho

    Illinois

    Indiana

    Iowa

    Louisiana

    Massachusetts

    Minnesota

    Missouri

    Montana

    Nebraska

    New Mexico

    New York

    Ohio

    Oklahoma

    Oregon

    Tennessee

    Texas

    Utah

    Vermont

    Virginia

    Wyoming

  4. Well try contacting the adoption agency that took him in. And take it from there. Good Luck

  5. i would deffiantly contact the agency, a lawyer, and the police! i cant believe she'd even put her 10 month old up for adoption!!! i could never put my daughter up for adoption i love her soooo much

  6. Go to your court house and theyll guild you on how to potition the court for your rights as a parent . do this imediatly since time is running out also after doing this i recomend you turn it over to a attorny to handle for you . theres also advocates out there i would contact them to since they have power through the press to make thing move along smooth . Check with your lawer but i believe the way it works is youll get your son back untill the courts make a judgement on this unless they fell youll be a unsafe or unfit parent you lawer can tell you if this is correct
