I am going to test for my CDL and I have a bone disease that I treat with pain med. I dont take it only when I am in bad pain. Anyway I read if someone has a prescrition from your doctor and your doctor knows your a truck driver and you have a letter of proof when you take the ua and pain med. shows up you can be exempt. I have looked everywhere on the site and can not find it. I got so excited when I read it I forgot to copy it or save it. If anyone out there will help me find it I will be very grateful. I guess my old age is catching up with me. God bless, Koota.....................

  1. as long as the pain meds doesn't effect your ability to operate the truck saftely you only need to have your med with you and also have to let your employer know that you have doctor orders meds for pain..and you are ok to operate the truck.with no problems...

  2. Try this site it may help you.........
