Can someone help me identify this bird?

Question

A mother bird is making her nest outside my house. She's a small wild bird, maybe two or three inchest tall. She's brown with a white underside and a narrow black beak. Her eggs are small, marble sized maybe smaller/bigger. They're white (though, I think they might be pinkish-reddish-white) with specks all over them. I live on the coast in Mississippi, if that helps with the region. Thank you. (:
