Question:

Can someone help me identify this plant with purple flowers?

I bought it in a basket and I'm hoping to take a cutting and plant it in the ground or make another basket, and I'm not sure if that's possible with this plant, not knowing what it is.

    There are a lot of different cultivars with different colors too.


  2. I looks like periwinkle (vinca.)  If it is, then be sure you only plant it in containers since it is extremely invasive.  And yes it should be possible to take a cutting to make another plant.
