  1. In a nut shell, you can break it down like this.  All men make mistakes, but a good man will stop when he knows he's wrong and correct his mistake.  His only crime is pride (meaning that his pride will be broken when he admits his wrong doings, because he corrected his wrong).  Therefore, no harm no fowl, because he corrected his error.  His only punishment is that his pride is broken.

  2. I believe it means that all men make mistakes but his biggest mistake is letting his pride that over his course;]

  3. If I were the instructor, I would be looking for essays which gave examples of people who either knew they were wrong but blundered ahead anyway and suffered the consequences, or those who recognized that they were wrong and changed direction, dealing with the criticism and disapproval.  You could look at political or religious leaders, sports figures, or just people whose stories you know for possible choices.

  4. "Everyone screws up. if you realize you're screwin' up and you stop..then good on ya. If you know what your doing is wrong but you continue; you are a prideful j@cka$ss and probably deserve what's comin' to ya."

  5. sry idk be a little specific next time!!! sry!

  6. It's saying that it's ok to make mistakes if you're willing to fix them.  If you're not willing to fix your mistakes, you've never repented and therefore are evil.  If you DO fix your mistake, your only crime is believing you could achieve your goals through whatever actions you took.  Pride is an unwarranted belief in yourself in this instance.

    Hope I've helped.

  7. Essay topic: Pride before the fall.

When we have pride, we think we can do our way, but some learn sooner than others.  The road to oblivion is a broad one.  At least, a man who admits his wrongs and stops at the edge of the abyss is better than a man who falls into the same abyss.

  8. I think it means that everyone makes mistakes, but a good person stops when they are doing something wrong and fixes their mistake. Then that good person's only fault is his pride in what he does.

  9. something along the lines of good men admit and try to rectify their mistakes one then his only crime is pride
