If there are so many songs about weed and smoking it and stuff--because its ILLEGAL--why don't they get arrested or anything?

Some singers do get arrested, like Snoop Dog.  Just because someone sings about weed, it doesn't give the police the right to get a search warrant or anything.  Police need probable cause, and song lyrics do not qualify as such.

its called freedom of speech.  you can talk about weed all you want, but the only way you can get in trouble for it is if you are caught using it or distributing it.  There is better use of the police department's time than staking out celebrities that talk about smoking weed.  I think bigger criminals, terrorists, and keeping order is a lot more important than staking out a celebrity...../
