Question:

Can someone help me out with getting "scene" hair?

Welp, I like "scene" hair (No I do not want to be scene, nor do I think I am) and I went to a salon and the lady working there said she does that haircut all the time and because my hair is curly she won't do it. It's not insanely curly, and the top is actually quite straight, but it does have waves/curls. Is there anyway I can make my hair straighter without getting it chemically straighten (and I straighten it with a flat iron already)? Maybe something like getting it thinned (I don't know if that would actually work, I'm just throwing ideas out there XD). She also told me short hair would be impossible to straighten. Is there any way to make it a little easier? Also, any hairstyles that you think are nice and might be easier to straighten would be greatly appreciated. Oh and I don't know if it matters or not but apparently my hair is fine and thin. Anyhow sorry if I'm not making much sense. It's almost 6 in the morning and I woke up at 3 pm yesterday, sooo chea :p. Oh, and if it helps I'll post pictures of the hairstyle I want. Thank you to anyone who helps me out :]
