okay so i use to live on my own ever since 17 yrs olf age- im turning 19 & well apparently as u can see -living alone wasnt quite well for me. well i did manage to get a good job while i was living alone- wich is in nyc- at the world financial center- how ever- being where my parents live- i cant afford the commute- it takes 2 hrs to go over there as well. i live upstate- in orange county- ive been trying to find a job that goes well with my schedule- i cant really make any changes to it since i start classes the 27th & train for boxing in the after noon. so i basically need an early shift- monday thru friday job- there arent any jobs around where i live- if so they require certain degrees wich i havnt reached yet. no my parents wont help me with it- ive tried many times- so im basically trying my best. i know there are a lot of scam online jobs outthere- but i was wonderng if any on knows any LEGIT online work from home job, where it is suitable for me to work with being i have school & training. i would fully & greatfully appriate the help from anyone. please.

also 10 pnts for best advice- please excuse my spelling gramer since that seems to bother most on here.(even though this isnt school) =]

  1. I've been doing some work with www.elance.com the past week, all the work is home based, data entry, transcription etc. The only thing is you're competing against people from countries where the hourly rate of pay is a lot lower, so not sure if it would be worth it for you.

Also have a look at the jobs listed here, most are applicable to us,canada, europe, its quite good, thats where I found the elance link.

Its been updated today to include some Craft type jobs which can be done from home, mainly re-distribution, but it possible to make good money from it if you work hard.

So many online jobs are out there. In fact, to do any online job, you need not want to invest anything. Make sure, you dont pay anything to get jobs online. It is just that need to pick the one that suits you the best. I hope this helps you and I believe you will find the online job that you love the most. Thanks

  2. Hi! Perhaps I can help. I've worked as a customer service rep taking inbound calls through a company called West At Home. I was working full time at the time and would work from home in the evenings and weekends and made an extra $200 plus each month depending on how much I wanted to work. You can earn enough to make it a full time job though. All you need is high speed internet and a headset.  I now do proofreading and contract work.  You can find other similar companies at

http://www.workathomedesk.com - a free site that has an excellent directory of legitimate companies hiring home workers. Remember to never pay to get a job.  You can also earn money online by:

    1. freelance writing jobs, these consist of writing articles, blog, content, web content, ghost writing, technical writing. Most of these jobs are freelance basis and plenty of jobs are available around.

    2. your own website/blog and earn from Google adsense. It will take some time and hard work, but rewards are great and long lasting.

    3. transcription job from home.

    4. completing projects available on online marketplace like guru.com or getafreelancer.com

    5. proofreading and editing written content

    Good luck in your search!

  3. I've setup a website which describes the best methods to find a real work from home job. I only include links to genuine websites for data entry and work at home jobs.

If you need any more help please send me a private message on yahoo.

Others I've found which have been very useful:

http://www.elance.com/p/landing/provider... (Data entry and home office type jobs)

http://www.guru.com/pro/index.aspx (mainly IT and Admin jobs)

  4. Unfortunately, just about all work-at-home job 'offers' are scams especially when asking for money upfront or personal info which can put one at risk for identity theft:  http://www.ftc.gov and can click 'identity theft' or such.

The only jobs that I've ever heard of from home are from actual ('bricks and mortar') businesses from perhaps a non-profit organization perhaps doing telemarketing or computer work.  Those opportunities, however, are few and far between.
