  1. You could probably go all the way to 17", with an extremely low profile tire. New Honda Civics come with 16" whee. Keep in mind that the bigger you go, the more the tire is going to cost you.

  2. CORRECT tire size information,

    Current tire size is (for example) P175/70R13

    P=Passenger tire

    175=width in milimeters

    70=ASPECT RATIO/70 percent of the height is the width of the tire.

    R=radial tire

    13 rim size.

    Europeon tire mfg's often eliminate the "p" from the tire size but still are for passenger vehicles.

    Most tire shops will have an "upsize" chart which will show you what tire sizes you will need.

  3. Your 1992 Toyota Corolla has 175/70-13 tires on them meaning 175mm wide, 70 mm sidewall, and 13 inch wheels. If you wanted to have 15" wheels you would have to get 195/50-15 tires which is 195mm wide, 50mm sidewall, and 15" wheels.

    The diameter of both of these tires are the same..the only differences are the size of the sidewall, width, and the size wheel that will fit it. You have to get 195/50-15 tires with 15" wheels in order for your speedometer to read correctly. Hope this helps.

  4. I would stay with the original ones. It's for the best. Plus you will avoid do damage to your car. The original ones should have the size  number on them just like any other car would.
