  1. Only you can answer!

Do you want to take this class?

    Are you interested in photography?

Do you want to get it just for an arts credit, or because you want to learn how to photograph?

Do you plan to buy the camera like you buy books for classes - then dispose of it, or put it on a shelf after the class is over, or you want to continue on using it later on?

Try to answer each of these questions, and you will know whether you want to go ahead and get a camera, or take on a drawing class, because the crayons are so much cheaper than a camera...

    LEM.

  2. Do you have to get a specific camera. if you have to get it from the class its probably overpriced. Check out ebay, i got a nice video camera for a class onetime and my sister got a nice nikon d60 or 70 for no more than 500 with alot of extra gear i think.
