Ugh. I am not the account holder.. but I went online and it says that i went over our 700 minute plan by 14 minutes.

But then it says this:

Unbilled charges exceeding your rate plan

Category Units Amount

Minutes 468.0 187.2

Calls to Directory Assistance, International Calls, Toll Calls, Roaming and/or additional minutes/messages 9.99

Total unbilled charges exceeding your rate plan: 197.19

The "Charges Exceeding Your Rate Plan" section is intended to reflect charges in addition to your monthly recurring charge for your plan such as overage, roaming, long distance, and directory assistance charges. Taxes and fees, downloaded materials, roadside assistance, equipment protection, and other such charges are excluded. Some charges, such as roaming, may be delayed and may appear in subsequent bill cycles.

Does that mean that the bill will be the 140.00 that it usually is + 197.19 cents?

  2. Go to My Account->Billing and Usage

....and then look at the summary.  It breaks down EVERYTHING  (text, minutes, minutes over, etc.) for you.  Including your TOTAL amount owed.  Typically when you go over your minutes, it's only about .35 a minute. That would only be about 5 bucks.  Also,

Text #646# (it's pound MIN as in "minutes" and it's free-they don't charge you to check your minutes) and it will tell you what you have left.  If you THINK you are going to go over, just call them and they can up your minutes for you.  I've talked to a Customer Service assistant before who did JUST that.  Sometimes, they will credit your account if you are a long term account member OR if it has never happened to you before.  Just call them and "play dumb" and be nice.  Works like a charm!

  3. That's only 655 minutes, isnt it? Well, I guess I would call them and find out exactly what the charges are. Your total bill is $197.19.

Your bill should be itemized, don't let Tmobile charge you for things you didn't do. I did and they argued and charged me $65 for texting JAPAN (I dont know anyone in Japan, never been there, and don't plan on going) and that is why I switched to Alltel.
