  1. the Palestinians arent gaining anything through the negotiation we make with the Israelis .

    so, they blame us .

also , the gateway in Rafa7 is closed and they want it to be opened .

when it was opened last time , Egyptians went into Ghaza and Palestinians came over to Egypt .

we found weapons with Palestinians in upper Egypt .

there are problems tied with opening the gateway .

i do hope everything gets into order and peace is established in this area .

  2. Not only Palestinians, but most Arabs in general, form the time Egypt signed a peace treaty with Israel.

in 1973 when the Egyptian army surprised Israel and crossed Suiz canal, the aim was not only to free Sinai but also march towards Jerusalem and free Palestine. The Arab countries at that time if you remember used the Oil power to prevent other countries from Supporting Israel in the war and was successful.

When Israel started to gain position again it was important for the Egyptian leaders to make a wise decision and accept a cease fire, then a peace treaty.

This was considered betrayal by most Arabs as the war that they (politically) supported did not achieve it is target and those countries boycotted Egypt and ceased its membership in the Arab League and moved the Headquarter to Tunisia instead of Cairo.

At that time I was in Qatar and I saw the demonstrations against Egypt especially by Palestinians. We even had fights in the School between what so called Egypt vs Palestine and I got suspended. I was 10 , not really sure why they were fighting us, but now I know.

It is getting much less now and the generations are changing, but some residues are still there.

Let's pray to Allah to unite us again and remove any hate from our hearts. Amin.

  3. I agree with Janna and with Shalfat except in one point. In 1973 they didn't get any position, it was only a show protected by USA, then a complete new army came direct from America to help our enemy. The enemy was defeated already even after the end of the war. By all measures they were defeated otherwise they would have not give us the land back.

Back to Palestinians topic; In addition to what Janna wrote, we should consider that their past leaders use to lie to them according to the direction they want to lead. If they get something from Iraq, they lead them to like Iraq. If they didn't get what they want from Egypt or a gulf country, they lead them against. Any way still many well cultured people who can understand politics and know the history, they still respect and like Egypt.

  4. I tottaly agree with moonrise and Gigi

We didn't Do something wrong .. and they need help and somehow we are helping them

i agree that they hate us because we freed our land but they haven't yet ( rabena yonsorhom )

and when they were suffering we didn't let them to get in here ( Egypt)

  5. Sometimes we breed hatred in a suffering friend if we are still their friend but are rather passive in their misfortune.

I expect my friends to get really damned angry on my behalf if I have been served a deep injustice...

  6. They do? I had no idea!

  7. im palestinian but me or my family doesnt hate them.

  8. I agree with Moonrise, gigi and Shalfat ..

As a Palestinian I can tell you that some Palestinians have "different" ways of dealing with things, some of these ways are pretty envious .. Maybe it's because of the occupation and continuous disappointments they see by Arabs ..

We are aware that if we kept our mouths shut, we would lose Palestine forever and this is what freaks us .. No one dared to fight The enemy (our enemy as well as YOUR enemy), instead they signed a peace treaty with Them ..

Today's generation is different than yesterday's .. but again some of them ARE influenced by their ancestors but the majority of the youth's ready to sacrifice their lives for their Quds .. no matter what their loss might be ..

  9. the political tensions in that region have been around for ever and the fact that Egypt backs Israel the Palestinians see Egyptians as their enemy's. I believe that is why they hate Egyptians but i could be wrong!

  10. because we have peace agreement with isreal

because we made war and win it

because we are the only arabian countries who free our lands

because we didnt let them pass

  11. frankly speaking men ela7'ir ya3ni

most of them envy us cuz we freed our land:D

but we still brothers right guys?
