  2. If your sound is run through a sound card then go to their web site and download their software&drivers. Because of the slowness you might run a virus scan&a adware scan adware and spyware are the biggest slow down problems of computers.

  3. Use system restore if you don't have discs to do a reinstall. START - ALL PROGRAMS- ACCESSORIES - SYSTEM TOOLS - SYSTEM RESTORE

  4. if its just your sound there should be an icon near the clock on your task bar.. if you click on that make sure the wave tab is all the way up.. sometimes mie resets itself and goes to zero and i cant hear anything even though my volume is on.

  5. well you made the mistake of deleting files when you could have removed them. and not see them. basically you need a manufacturer to fix your problem i had this problem before where the sound was not working i could not do anything. about it so i needed to call the manufacturer to fix it and then bring it back.

  6. Listen to Tam Byte.

  7. try going to the computers manufacturing web site and redownloading the audio driver files

be more careful what you delete from now on

pcpitstop.com let it scan and tell you how you can fix the problem

a good registry repair pro will help you as well

sometimes all you have to do is disable programs and not remove them

go to start run type msconfig clik ok

then start up tab disable all

services tab be sure to check hide all microsoft services then disable all it will ask you to restart to change your settings

maybe ask you 2 times after all that the background programs will stop

hope you dont have norton anti virus its a resource hog

pcpitstop.com will help you as well

you may need more ram to make your computer optimized

    crucial.com for a ram scan

  8. Well, probably your computer has been infected by a virus. The suggestion i can give is to reformat your computer. It's the safest way to repair your computer. Although some files will be deleted, but if you are willing to repair your computer, just reformat it.
